The first day of school is rapidly approaching!
It's going to be a fun and rewarding year, but it's not without lots of hard work and high expectations!
I'm pretty excited!!
See you at BTSN on August 14.... It starts at 6:00 on the blacktop, with an introduction of all the teachers. Then, it's in the classrooms for 2 twenty minute sessions. I have a lot of info that is jam packed in the sessions. I tend to have less parents in the second one and cover things I forget in the first :/
First day of school is on August 16 (it's a Thursday this year!!!) I start class promptly at 8:00, when the bell rings. I take attendance right away, so even if your child is 30 seconds late, they're still marked as late, even if they walked on campus at 8:00. I'm trying to build good habits of being on time.

My philosophy is that your child's job is to be a student first. That means maintaining a climate that is conducive to learning. Please make sure your child is following the District set dress code. I do enforce what the District has set..... Hats are to be removed every time we are indoors, tank tops need to have arm holes that are not too large and no spaghetti straps, shorts are to be fingertip length, hair color that is unusual needs to be gone by the first day of school.
